Hello All, Just a reminder about the qualifier this Sat Oct 4 at the Dead Ant At 4:30. I would like to thank some of the Denver shooters for helping me this weekend. My truck broke down and the Denver shooters stepped up and alowed my to shoot in the games and then when all was over helped me fix my truck. I don't remember the fella's name but he is the treasurer for the RMDA. Thank you and I owe that man a beer. I would also like the thank Doreen Berry. She has been unable to attend my shoots due to travel but she has donated $20.00 to the woman's moneies for the qualifier. This brings the totals to: Men +80 and the WOMAN +90. Thank you Doreen. I hope to see lots of you at the shoot this weekend. And Neil and Trobi was a great deal of my transpertation around town this weekend due to my truck so I say THANK YOU. As always tell a buddy and bring a friend Thank you for your time, The ADO Guy

Hello All, Here are the results so far. For the MEN, +50, Glenn D., Neil H., Scott R. For the WOMAN, +50, Kathi S., Trobi A., Cherri R. There is still 3 more shoots. One of them is this weekend Sept. 20 at the Dead Ant Tavern at 4:30. So tell a buddy and bring a friend and come on out to play darts! You know THE GREATEST GAME ON EARTH!!!!! Due to some behavioral issues at the last shoot These rules will be affective immediately and will stay in place until I no longer run these shoots. RULE #1 Players must remain coherent during matches. This is competition play, semi-pro, and must be treated as such. If a shooter gets to a point where he/she can't play in a timely and somewhat coherent manner the forfit of games can take place. ( don't get sloppy drunk) RULE # 2 If a player goes to smoke a cigarette in the middle of a 3 game match, The smoking player WILL forfit the next leg. Again these rules will be in effect at the next shoot. Thank you for your time, The ADO Guy

I'm interested in some feedback from everyone ---
What would make you want to shoot in a qualifier? Would you shoot if the location were rotated to different venues? I haven't been here long enough, nor involved long enough to know the other venues.
I really want to help Glenn get things going - but I haven't met enough of you to work the p.r. position.
I hale from the East Coast - mid-Atlantic to top it off - and regionals was very active in that area. I've only once been league ADO rep, and another time I've been the ADO liason, but I feel I can help Glenn increase participation. (He's going to kill me for this email, but I'll deal with that later :) )
The first thing that occurred to me was that maybe changing up the venue would help - a rotation schedule. If this is something that would increase your participation interest - let Glenn (or me, and then I'll chat with him) know.
If you have other ideas that will increase *your* participation interest - make your voice heard!
Remember if you don't speak up thing can't be changed ...
I'm interested in helping darts in the Colorado Springs area excel -
Doreen Berry

Hello All, I am collecting info on the youth Regional/National shoots. Still waiting on snail mail. However I have had only reply on interest, J. Perez. That gives me 3 shooters. Unfortunately its not enough shooters yet but I still am working the kinks out. There is only ONE National a year for the youth, So what this means is WE would need 5 shooters to play once a month for 12 months to raise enough money to send ONE youth to the Nationals. More shooters would generate more money. If anyone has any fund raising ideas I'm all ears. I also need some input from you for a playing program. I have a rough draft that might work but it will take dedication from the youth shooters and adult partners. Again any ideas would be helpful. Also if anyone needs more info or questions just drop a line. Thank you for your time, The Young ADO Guy LOL

Hello all,
I have been trying to put together a program for the youth regional qualifiers. What I need to know is: Who might be interested in a youth competition play? What time and day would be best for the youth shooters? I will put forth my best effort to run a successful youth program but I NEED youth participation to do this. My two boys are looking to play so that is two willing to play but I need more players to do this. I would like to see 6 or more shooters. That way anyone has a chance to qualify. Please respond if there are interested youth. I don't have every thing ironed out yet but I do know It will be a partner shoot. 1 youth and 1 adult on a team, meaning all youth shooters must play an adult partner. This will be a fund raising group of shoots to cover a spot to the nationals (600). This must be won at the regional. the top 3 youth shooters will qualify. the format will be as the adult shoots are ran. I will explain better when all is figured out.
Thanks for your time,
The ADO Guy
