Upcoming Events
The ADO Cricket Regional will be held on November 6th in Denver at The Longshot Lounge, located at 6335 Federal Blvd, Englewood, CO (303)789-9653.
Qualifiers for this event are currently being held every Sunday at 2pm at the Farside Lounge on the corner of Airport and Murray. The cost is $10 per person each week.
Why does is cost $10 to play in a qualifier?
All money generated through the qualifiers goes toward the entry fees for the Regional playoff. The winner of each bracket (men and women compete separately) earns all money generated in their bracket through that day’s play, to go toward their entry fee at the next Regional playoff. At the end of all qualifying rounds, each shooter who has won money from the qualifiers will have the option to go to the Regional playoff. If that person’s accumulated winnings total less than $110 they may pay the difference themselves PRIOR TO the day of the Regional.
Any money accumulated by a player who chooses NOT to participate in the Regional playoffs will be passed down to the next eligible player of the same sex.
All monies generated are non-refundable. No money will be refunded to anyone who chooses not to participate in the Regional playoff. If a player fails to play in the Regional after agreeing to go they are subject to disciplinary action which may include being barred from participating in future Regional playoffs for a period of up to one year.
How ADO Regionals/Nationals work:
The entry fee to participate in the Regional playoffs is $110 per person. Qualified shooters may pay the money themselves or earn all or a portion of the entry fee through participation in our local qualifiers. The cost to send players to a national competition is $880 per person. So for every 8 players at the regional, 1 player will advance to the national. The winner(s) of the regional playoffs will have their transportaion costs to the national paid plus $150 spending money once they get there. The money can be used at the player's discretion, but is not intended to pay for alcoholic beverages. The transportation cost is either a plane ticket to the location of the nationals, or a check if the player chooses to drive.
